Order & Contract

Who can order from the online shop?

Sales are made exclusively to persons who have reached the age of 18.

Is a purchase agreement automatically concluded?

The purchase agreement is concluded with the order confirmation by email .

Do I have to create a customer account?

No, you can also place an order without a customer account.

Payment

Which payment methods are accepted?

The available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

When is the amount due?

The invoice amount is due immediately upon completion of the order .

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Delivery usually takes 2–5 business days to Austria or Germany.

From what age can I place an order?

Sales are exclusively made to persons over 18 years of age.

Is the wine available directly from the winery?

You are welcome to schedule an appointment by phone or email—or simply call and drop by spontaneously.

Become a hospitality or retail partner?

Our wines are also available for restaurants and retailers in the countries listed above.

How much are the shipping costs?

Austria: €10.00 (free shipping from €159.00)
Germany: €17.00 (free shipping from €259.00)

All other countries: Please contact us directly at wein@weingut-piewald.at.
For international deliveries, customs duties, taxes, and fees may apply, which are not included in the displayed total price.

How is the wine shipped?

Our wines are shipped securely in break-resistant packaging with DHL or DPD. Shipping is carried out in cases of 6 and 12. For logistical and environmentally friendly reasons, we therefore ask that you order in multiples of 6 or 12.

For larger quantities, please feel free to contact us, as these are shipped on small pallets via freight carrier (from 60 bottles).

Cancellation & Returns

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Yes, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days.

Which products are excluded from cancellation?

For hygiene and quality reasons, opened bottles are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Who bears the return shipping costs?

The buyer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

Liability & Ownership

Who is liable for transport damage?

Please report any visible shipping damage immediately upon receipt of the goods.

When does title to the goods pass?

Ownership passes to the buyer upon full payment.

Your data will be used exclusively to process your order and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
